AOL offers both industry standard and custom advertising solutions. This section provides the necessary standards and guidelines for running advertising programs across AOL's community of brands.

"AOL Advertising" includes the AOL Network, and refers to all AOL advertising and publisher networks, including affiliate, contextual, behavioral, rich media, video, mobile, search, widget and custom solutions. Advertising.com is part of AOL Advertising.

"AOL Network" refers to AOL-owned rich media branded properties, including but not limited to the Huffington Post Media Group, MapQuest, MovieFone, Techcrunch, etc.

Standards CompliantAll AOL online advertising specifications and guidelines are in compliance with the IAB's Interactive Marketing Unit Standards. All AOL mobile advertising specifications and guidelines are in compliance with the MMA's Mobile Marketing Association Standards.

All AOL ads are subject to both AOL's Standard Creative Guidelines and Technical Guidelines.
